QWhat Should I Bring With Me When I Visit The Spa?

If you are the recipient of a gift certificate, please bring the certificate with you and present it to the front desk staff before your services start. We regret that the spa is not responsible for lost items. Please leave your valuables at home.


QHow Much Notice Do You Require if I need to re schedule or cancel my appointment?

A

We require 24 hours notice for individual services and 48 hours notice for packages. There is a $50 administrative fee for any package that is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.


QWhat if I am late for my appointment?

A

Please understand that if you are late for your appointment, it will be necessary to shorten, or, reschedule your service time so as not to delay service for the next client.


QWhat are my payment options?

A

Carmichael’s hair salon will except cash, Visa or cheque (with proper I.D.) Carmichael’s Day Spa will accept cheque or cash only.

 

QHow far in advance should I book my appointment to be sure that I get the time and day that I want?

A

If you would like to schedule a multi-service package on a Friday or Saturday, we recommend that you call us 3-4 weeks in advance. For individual services on a Friday or Saturday, 2-3 weeks should guarantee your choice of time. For any services Monday to Thursday, 1-2 weeks notice is sufficient. Don’t hesitate to try us that day or week in the event that we might have an opening due to a cancellation or other reason.


QMay I substitute Spa Package services for others? Can I substitute a service in my Package?

Unfortunately, we are unable to substitute services within our packages. Please feel free to add extra services from our “a la carte” selection, at the listed prices. All services included in our packages must be done the same day.

Gift Certificates can be purchased for services, packages or a specific dollar amount. They can be ordered by telephone, or in person. Our prices do not include G.S.T. or gratuities. Our Gift Certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Gift Certificates are to be treated as cash and therefore are not redeemable if lost or stolen. Recipients of a gift certificate must inform the receptionist of the certificate number. Gift certificates obtained through charity are valid Monday to Thursday only and have a three month value.


QChildren in salon?

A

Children are best served by appointment and are the responsiblity of their caregiver. We do not recommend small children to be in or near the colour processing area.


QAre gratuities included in the individual prices or packages?

A

Gratuities are much appreciated but are not included and would be in addition to prices listed.
